Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Navy Foundation ("Navy," "we," "us," or "our"), a foundation organized under the laws of the Cayman Islands, is committed to protecting the privacy of users who interact with the Navy protocol, our website at navy.sh, and any associated interfaces, tools, or services (collectively, the "Services").

Navy is a non custodial, open source exchange for tokenized real world assets. We do not take custody of your digital assets, private keys, or wallet credentials at any point. Due to the nature of blockchain technology, certain onchain data is inherently public and outside the scope of our control. This Privacy Policy applies only to information we collect through our offchain Services and interfaces.

2. Data We Collect

  • Wallet Addresses and Public Blockchain Data. When you connect a wallet to the Services, we may record your public wallet address. Blockchain transactions are inherently public. This data is publicly available and is not considered private information.
  • Device and Usage Information. We may collect browser type, operating system, IP address, referring URLs, pages viewed, and interaction patterns. We use localStorage and similar browser based storage for interface preferences and session state.
  • Analytics Data. We use third party analytics services to understand usage patterns. These services may collect anonymized usage data including page views, click events, and session duration.
  • Direct Communications. If you contact us via email or other channels, we may collect the content of those communications.

3. How We Use Data

  • Service Provision. To provide, maintain, and improve the Services, including rendering the interface and delivering features you interact with.
  • Security and Fraud Prevention. To detect and prevent fraudulent transactions, unauthorized access, and malicious activities. This includes monitoring for sanctioned wallet addresses and potential exploits.
  • Legal Compliance. To comply with applicable laws and regulations, including AML obligations, sanctions screening, and responses to governmental requests.
  • Product Improvement. To analyze usage trends, measure feature effectiveness, and develop improvements.

4. Data Sharing

Navy Foundation does not sell your personal information. We may share information in limited circumstances:

  • Regulators and Government Authorities. When required by applicable law, regulation, or legal process.
  • Service Vendors. Third party providers who assist with hosting, security monitoring, and operations. These vendors are contractually required to maintain safeguards.
  • Analytics Partners. Anonymized or aggregated usage data that cannot identify you personally.
  • Law Enforcement. When necessary to prevent imminent harm or investigate suspected illegal activity.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

  • Strictly Necessary. Essential for operation: wallet connection state, session management, security features.
  • Functional. Preferences such as display settings and interface configurations.
  • Analytics. Aggregated, anonymized data about how you use the Services.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain technologies may impair functionality.

6. Age Restriction

The Services are not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. Contact legal@navy.sh if you believe a minor has provided us with personal information.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and as required by applicable law. Analytics data is retained in anonymized form.

8. International Transfers

Your information may be transferred to countries other than where you reside. We implement appropriate safeguards for cross border transfers. By using the Services, you consent to these transfers.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including access, deletion, and opt out. To exercise these rights, contact legal@navy.sh.

10. Security

We implement reasonable safeguards including encryption, access controls, and security monitoring. No method of transmission is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your wallet credentials and private keys.

11. Changes
